The State of Colorado allows clients, or their parents/authorized representatives, to direct and manage their own care with the added support of an agency. Through IHSS, you are empowered to select, train, and manage the attendants of your choice to best fit your unique needs. Attendants can provide personal care, homemaker, and health maintenance services.

Clients must be enrolled in Colorado Medicaid and be approved for either the CHCBS, EBD, or CIH waivers.

The process to onboard is very simple and can be done in less than a week:

1. Complete online paperwork
2. Connect us with your case manager to start the process
3. Have a quick in-person visit

Existing IHSS Family? You can easily transfer your services in less than a week and we handle the transition process to make it easy and smooth for you!

Note: Medicaid payment for services is available only after the Member is eligible for Medicaid Colorado Health First and the service is authorized. Not all individuals qualify. Timing of enrollment and service authorization may vary.
