The State of Colorado allows clients, or their parents/authorized representatives, to direct and manage their own care with the added support of an agency. Through IHSS, you are empowered to select, train, and manage the attendants of your choice to best fit your unique needs. Attendants can provide personal care, homemaker, and health maintenance services.
Clients must be enrolled in Colorado Medicaid and be approved for either the CHCBS, EBD, or CIH waivers.
The process to onboard is very simple and can be done in less than a week:

We pay all our families the highest rates in Colorado. We are family caregivers ourselves and believe families should be paid top rates!
All family members who work over 40 hours are paid $33/hr/overtime. Family caregivers should be paid for all their hard work!

$21/hr and $31.50/hr/overtime

Family members are eligible to work up to 40 hours/week of personal care. Homemaker cannot be provided by family members.
