Expanding Services for Medicaid Members!
All Medicaid members can now have their family members/friends provide and be paid for new services!! No Medicaid Waiver or CNA license needed.
Many Children/Adults currently on the CES/SLS waivers receive these services!
Services for Children & Adults!
Children and adults can now access 3 services for support with activities of daily living from their parents/caregivers without a CNA license.
HEALTH MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES (HMA) = Skilled health needs
PERSONAL CARE = Unskilled health needs
HOMEMAKER = Cleaning, laundry, household care
HMA and Personal Care activities may include: bathing, dressing, skin care, transfers, mobility, eating/feeding, respiratory assistance, positioning, bladder/bowel care, hygiene, medical equipment, medication reminders, protective oversight, and accompaniment!
To Determine Eligibility:
The process to determine eligibility and get onboarded is simple and can be done within a week or two!

Note: Medicaid payment for services is available only after the Member is eligible for Medicaid Colorado Health First and the service is authorized. Not all individuals qualify. Timing of enrollment and service authorization may vary."
